This clone comes from a work in progress where we have been backcrossing Dyckia estevesii to try and create distichous Dyckias from seed

recurving leaves that are quite thickly succulent and bear very large marginal spines

Forzzaea leopoldo-horstii E.B. Size:Offset A real conversation pieceNative to Diamantina, Minas Gerais, Brazil where it grows an arid existence. The leaves are stiff, succulent, and straight, about a half inch wide at the base and tapering to a point, bearing small, but stiff marginal spines. The color is silver with dark mottling. Has a very distinct pattern unlike other leopoldo horstii's in cultivation. Flowers are white. Our clone of this plant came from Eloise Beach.
