I believe this is a large, oval cut paste rhinestone, but I have not tested it. The silver around the gemstone has been beautifully formed into a lovely flower and leaf design. It is very well crafted with the front design supported on an oval silver frame. It fastens with a simple antique C hook clasp and pin.
