An oval badge constructed of silvered zink, the obverse pebbled with a Stahlhelm in the centre bearing a mobile swastika, superimposed on crossed swords within a wreath of laurel leaves with a tied bow at the bottom, the reverse with a vertical pinback, maker marked L 55 for Rudolf Wchtler & Lange, Mittweida, measuring 36. 17 mm (w) x 43. 69 mm (h), weighing 20. 5 grams, and in near very fine condition
