Prussia, Kingdom. A Düppel Storm Cross Hold Private William E(Dppeler Sturmkreuz). Constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension, consisting of a Cross Patte, the obverse with a leftward facing profile of Kaiser Wilhelm I, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with a Prussian imperial eagle perched on top of a canon, the arms inscribed DFFEL 18. APR. 1864, with a laurel wreath through the quadrants, unmarked, measuring 31. 67 mm (w) x 36. 55 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
