Constructed of nickel silver, the obverse bearing a central raised German national eagle clutching an HJ insignia, situated within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of BLUE UND EHRE (BLOOD AND HONOUR), the reverse with a loop and attachment claws emanating from a functional roller, double marked with the logos of F. W. ASSMANN & SHNE, LDENSCHEID, along with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and code 17, measuring
