It's a field style blend grown in the Chalone AVA, way up at 1,700 1,900 feet next to Pinnacles National Park, where huge day to night temperature swings and a wild mash up of limestone, granite and volcanic soils keep everything bright. The 2019 is Mourvedre, Syrah and Grenache (plus a splash of other old vine fruit), foot crushed, fermented as whole clusters and
