A Crimean War 1853-1856 Campaign Medal Hold measuring 101 mm x 62"Light bronze version with obverse illustrating the intertwining, crowned cyphers of Emperors Nicholas I and Alexander II topped by the all seeing eye emanating flaming rays, inscribed ""1853 1854 1855 1856"" below the cyphers, reverse inscribed ""We Have Set Out Hopes in Thee O Lord, Let Us Never Be Ashamed"" in Russian, 28. 3 mm, replacement ribbon, spotting on the obverse, contact marks on the reverse, very fine.
