Constructed of silvered cupal, the obverse consisting of a Sig rune, bearing a central mobile swastika, situated within a circular ring bearing an inscription of FR LEISTUNGEN IM D. J. (FOR MERIT IN THE D. J.), the reverse with a vertical pinback, stamped with an award number of 97493, marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code M1 120 for Wilhelm Deumer,
