A round medal finished in old silver, the obverse centre presents the national emblem and the words TREUE DIENSTE IN DER WEHRMACHT (LOYAL SERVICE IN THE ARMED FORCES), the reverse centre presents the number 4 encircled by oakleaves, measuring 30. 19 mm in diameter, on loop for suspension from period original cornflower blue ribbon with metal national emblem device for Luftwaffe, and in good condition.
