A 1915 Berlin Canary Breeder And Bird Protection Association Merit Medal Hold A Russian Order of theSilver, obverse engraver marked "OERTEL BERLIN", illustrating a canary with the inscription "DEM VERDIENSTE" above, reverse with the date "1915" engraved inside an open ended wreath, surrounded by the inscription "KANARIENZCHTER U. VOGELSCHUTZ VERBAND E. V. SITZ BERLIN", 39. 7 mm, spot on the obverse, near extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, recessed medal bed, scuffed, case fine.
