This species comes from the Barisan range in Sumatra where it grows sympatrically with other iconic Nepenthes species such as dubia and lingulata

Both parents are extremely vigorous plants that can be grown in a wide range of conditions and we expect the same of all the seedlings

being large with a flared peristome when in the lower stage and then exhibiting a more lowi-esque form in the uppers

we believe this may be the best cross ever produced based on the outstanding features of both parents
